The Frustrations of A Priestess

I’m feeling a little frustrated today. It’s another day where I am working as hard as I can to create new content for both my Facebook page and this website, as well as writing a devotional book (about my journey with the Morrigan) and putting together items to sell through my Ko-Fi page. A priestess’s work is never done!

Every time I take a break from work, I check in on my socials to make sure I am not missing any comments or opportunities to interact with the people that are my target audience. I post my links frequently, (honestly, having to push my shop so often makes me feel as if I am being a nuisance but it is a task that I need to do to reach my goal), and remind everyone of the Services and shop listings that I have to offer. I perform a free healing working every other Sunday to make sure that I am helping people who cannot afford to pay for my time and energy. I make sure to reach out to the members of my community as often as I can, especially if I haven’t heard from them in a couple of days or I know that they are dealing with something.

I am also taking a course (counselling) while doing all this work, not for myself but to enable me to be of better service to my community. I plan to continue taking as many courses as I need to make sure that I am the best version of myself possible, so I can be of help in as many ways and situations as needed. I think it is safe to say that I am working as hard as I possibly can to guide, support, and comfort those who need it AND to reach the goal of building a Temple.

Why am I frustrated? Because all the social media platforms make it difficult for me to reach the people that I need to. Posts where I include my links don’t get as many views as those without. Paying to boost those posts or run adverts isn’t really an option - I am trying to raise money, not spend it. Hence the frustration. On those rare occasions where I do pay for an advert, the money comes out of my own pocket and not the Temple funds.

If any of you have good ideas of how I can reach more people without it costing me a fortune, please let me know. If you would like to become a supporter or pay for a membership ($2.50-5.00 per month), the link is in the header of this website, and I will post the QR code below. If you would like to support me for free, please 💜 my posts and share/repost/quote me on whichever platform you prefer. All help is welcomed and appreciated.

I know this is going to be a journey that takes many years and that there will be many frustrations along the way. Those frustrations are outweighed by the love and support I receive from the wonderful people who I have met along the way, and I am sure that in time the love and support will far surpass the frustrations.
