Things are not at their easiest in my life right now, but I am feeling a huge gratitude glow. As many of you know, I have been working to raise funds for the Temple Project for a few months now. It has been slow going, for the most part but I have faith that this will change in time: the more I put my own money where my mouth is (I donate to it regularly as well as offering several services and putting together witchcraft PDFs for sale) and the more other people donate or pay for my services, the more likely it is that other people will also donate or sign up to become members of my Ko-Fi (https://ko-fi.com/c/dc6a9b5662). People need to see consistency and effort, and I am doing everything I can to make this Temple a reality.
Some of the pressure has been lifted from my shoulders. I am no longer the only person offering goods and services for this goal. My dear friend (known on Social Media as Boreal Forest Witch) is making beautiful crystal bracelets, with $15 from each sale going towards the fundraising. I encourage you to buy a bracelet or two; not only is the money going to a great cause but the jewellery is beautifully and lovingly made too. I own a necklace that he made for me and it not only looks amazing, it feels amazing too. BFW is an amazingly supportive friend and genuinely lovely human. He deserves a lot more recognition than he gets, and I know that that will change with time. He is wise, patient, intelligent, kind, and can be devastatingly snarky if the situation calls for it. If you want to purchase his bracelets, you can find them here: https://ko-fi.com/borealforest
Having someone to share the load with has made me stop and think about all the things I feel gratitude for: the Junior Witch, having wonderful friends, being able to feed and clothe myself and the JW, the support and love I receive from the good and kind people on various platforms, and my wonderful Pagan and witch community. I am also grateful for having the freedom to finally answer my calling, to do what I feel I was always meant to do. Better late than never, right?
What are you feeling grateful for today?
